Sky Fort: Day 1: The arrival.

So I was planing the top of my workbench, sweatin’ out the shavings when I heard the diesel rumble of a big rig in  the neighborhood.  When I stepped to the entrance of the swealtering garage I saw this up the driveway:

And a few minutes of gingerly coaxing the big pallet down the driveway with the driver’s help…we parked it in the garage and here’s what we got:It’s kind of hard to tell from this angle but this thing is almost as wide as my side of the garage.  My wood shavings trash can is just on the edge of the picture to the right, on the other side of that is the wall.  My bench is totally hidden behind the boxes.

That green thing is the 10′ slide wrapped in plastic.

Oh snap.  This thing just got real.
